You can't miss the museum's new and very distinctive headquarters downtown. The four-level structure inspired by the state's Black Rock Desert is a work of art in its own right. The permanent collection focuses on works depicting nature and the environment; there's also a rooftop sculpture garden. Traveling exhibitions are scheduled throughout the year.
