This lively bistro sprang on the scene in 2008 and quickly garnered awards as Richmond's best new restaurant. Although tiny, the busy kitchen lives up to the kudos with such modern Southern standards as Low Country shrimp and grits under a surprisingly spicy cream sauce. The main plates are relatively small, so I started with a small mountain of fried green tomatoes. The blackboard menu changes daily. Noisy 30-somethings can pack the small dining room and front porch, especially on Friday and Saturday evenings.
