La Rosa Ingles serves the best breakfast I can ever remember eating. Everything from the bread to the sausage to the tea and fruit preserves are handcrafted by the expat British owners, from the “Full Monty” (a classic Brit meal of eggs, stewed tomatoes, and mushrooms) to the “Dead Elvis” (French toast with caramelized bananas, cinnamon, and syrup). The turkey and sweet potato hash, with pancetta and rosemary, is another house favorites. You have to drive up an insanely steep road to get here, but that also means that the views from the dining room and terrace (breakfast is served in both spots) are awe-inspiring. Get here early as it does get crowded.
