Only open on Friday and Saturday, the gafieira Estudantina is another mainstay on the Carioca ballroom scene. Many students of the dance school come and show off, but newcomers and novices are made to feel equally welcome. A 10-piece band plays every weekend. Doors open at 11pm. Arrive early to grab a table.
