LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO DRINK CHEAP BEER, reads the sign behind the oak bar. If you agree, then Bitter Creek is the place for you. In four fermenting vats adjacent to the bar, they concoct their own special microbrews, including the popular Mustang Pale Ale and the cleverly named Coal Porter, a darker beer with a slight chocolate aftertaste. The ever-changing menu includes gourmet salads, pizzas, and pasta dishes.
