Frommer's Review
Skip the tourist traps along Via Veneto and walk another block or two for much better food and a crowd of regulars from the chic neighborhood. The waitstaff is welcoming to foreigners, although the service can be erratic. The place is noted for its array of more than 250 wines, representing every province. The rigatoni alla siciliana with eggplant, black olives, and tomato sauce is better than anything Carmela Soprano could whip up. The mixed seafood appetizer is one of the best in Rome, a great bowlful of delights from the sea. The fish is fresh every day, and the chefs grill it to perfection. The exquisite meat dishes include grilled strips of filet with seasonal vegetables. Among the more delectable desserts are crème brûlée and Neapolitan babba, filled with liqueur.
