In a stucco-sided villa a few steps from the ticket office sits an idyllic stop for either before or after your visit Hadrian's Villa. It offers terrace dining under plane trees or indoor dining in a high-ceilinged room with terra-cotta walls, neoclassical moldings, and white Corinthian pilasters. The cooking is home-style, and the menu includes roast lamb, saltimbocca (veal cooked with ham), grilled tuna with beans, deviled chicken, salads and cheeses, and simple desserts. They're especially proud of their homemade pastas.
