Frommer's Review
On Rome's most exclusive "fashion street," this stylish venue is neither restaurant nor brasserie. Annexed to the landmark Hotel d'Inghilterra, the cafe can feed you all day long, whether you're looking for breakfast or for a late post-theater dinner. The atmosphere is very cosmopolitan, and the menu eclectic and well chosen. You can taste dishes from around the world, from moussaka to fish couscous, from the Lebanese mezze (appetizers) to Chicago rib-eye steak, from the Thai-like green-curry chicken to the Japanese-inspired salmon teriyaki. From lobster to pear with Roquefort, the salads are among the finest in town. If you're dropping in for an afternoon visit, try one of the yummy desserts, such as apple strudel, New York cheesecake, or a creamy chocolate mousse. There are a few outside tables for people-watching.
