Frommer's Review
With a glorious location adjacent to Piazza Navona, the Raphael is often the top choice of Italian politicos in town for the opening of Parliament. The ivy-covered facade invites you to enter the lobby, which is decorated with antiques that rival the cache in local museums (there's even a Picasso ceramics collection). The guest rooms (some quite small) were recently refurbished with a Florentine touch. Some of the suites have private terraces. We love its rooftop restaurant with views of all the major landmarks of Old Rome.
