Frommer's Review
This intimate, upscale inn is the first new hotel to open in this location in years. The people who run Rome's most famous cafe, Caffé Greco, created it where Hans Christian Andersen once lived. Andersen praised the balcony roses and violets, and so, probably, will you. Every room is furnished in an authentic period decor, featuring antiques, elegant draperies, and parquet floors. The superior units come with a fireplace, a frescoed or beamed ceiling, and a balcony. The hotel is completely modern, with generous wardrobe space. Each marble-paneled bathroom comes with a full tub, and others offer a Jacuzzi as well. Designer boutiques galore lie nearby.
