Frommer's Review
This long-standing monument at the top of the Via Veneto has been restored for its new life in the 21st century. One of the grand stopovers in the heyday of La Dolce Vita, the hotel offers spacious, beautifully furnished bedrooms overlooking the Villa Borghese gardens. Its only drawback, as we see it, is that the individual visitor to Rome might get lost in a sea of businesspeople and tour groups. The bedrooms are supremely comfortable, although they evoke those found in a large American city more than the typical offerings in the Eternal City. The suites are some of the grandest in Rome. The seventh-floor Ailanto restaurant has a terrific view over Rome.
