This is the most popular gay restaurant and bar in Rome. With its top-rate food and drink, you can come here and make an evening of it. Seasonal products are used in the traditional Mediterranean dishes; there's also an excellent assortment of pastries. One cake, "the orgasm," features a hot heart of chocolate. This restaurant and bar attracts a young professional class of Romans. A trendy choice for a night out, the bar is named for the gay monarch himself. It's open Wednesday to Monday 7pm to midnight.
