Review of Casa BleveRome's most luxurious wine bar occupies the former courtyard of the 16th-century Palazzo Medici. Long roofed over with an Art Deco style glass canopy, it's the latest offering of the Bleve family, who are local fixtures on the wine-and-dine scene in Rome. Their selection of wines by the glass is one of the best in Rome, costing from 4.50€ to 10€. Their lunchtime buffet is seriously gourmet, ranging from fresh Pugliese Burrata (near liquid mozzarella) to Calabrian peppers to cookies and desserts from Sicily. Ask to visit their wine cellar. Open Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 3pm, and also on Wednesday and Thursday 6 to 10pm. Note: This information was accurate when it was published, but can change without notice.
