Since 1964 folks from all over the region have been stopping at Tolly's in downtown Oakland to have dinner or sometimes just a root-beer float or sundae. Housed in a storefront on Locust Street, Tolly's is both an elegant restaurant and an old-fashioned soda fountain. You can hop onto a stool at the counter and sip a cold malted milkshake in a tall glass, or linger over a dinner of steak or salmon.
