Frommer's Review
One of Germany's most prestigious hotel chains has invaded Rostock to give the Courtyard a race for the number-one spot. So far, they're neck-and-neck. Both are ideal for business travelers and sightseers. Steigenberger has exceptional style for the area and a well-trained staff that offers the best service in town. Set in the center of town, most of its bedrooms open onto views of the rooftops of the old city. Rooms are midsize to spacious, with gleaming modern bathrooms with tub/shower combinations. Dining facilities are more extensive here than at Courtyard; the two restaurants, a bar, and a cafe all offer regional, vegetarian, and international dishes.
Facilities:
2 restaurants; cafe; bar/lounge; fitness center; sauna; solarium; steam bath; salon; room service; massage; babysitting; laundry service; dry cleaning; nonsmoking rooms; rooms for those w/limited mobility
