A commitment to wine in general and Istrian wine in particular is the driving force behind Piassa Granda, which opened in 2008 on a street deep in the heart of Old Town. Tables spill outside from the dark interior but there's nothing to hide when it comes to Piassa Granda's wine list, which features Istrian IQ varieties. Finger food is available to accompany the wine, enough to make a light meal of it. Open daily 10am to 1pm May 1 to October 1.
