The most eco-friendly place to stay on island is this cluster of small wooden cottages enveloped by tropical gardens 475m (1,508 ft.) up Booby Hill. The Robinson Crusoe-like nature retreat is about a 10-minute walk from Windwardside. Decorated with original artwork, cottages are filled with handmade wooden furniture and colorful fabrics. In 2008, the resort became the first 100% smoke-free hotel on Saba. The owners make their own banana rum and vanilla rum liqueurs, which you can purchase on-site.
