This dark, romantic restaurant in an old storefront in downtown Silverton is a welcome outpost of urban culinary aesthetics in this small town. The menu, which changes regularly, is short and preparations are fairly simple, but flavors are big. You might start with wild-mushroom bisque or butternut squash soup that's topped with black-truffle foam. Among the entrees, there are always good pastas; keep an eye out for the lasagna bolognese. Sundays are prime rib night, and there are also economical mid-week three-course dinners ($20).
