Frommer's Review
This romantic little bistro, across the river from downtown Salem, serves up the most imaginative meals in town. The menu changes regularly, depending on the whim of the chef, the availability of ingredients, and even the weather, but flavors might range from the subtle scents of prawns with saffron, clams, Spanish chorizo sausage, and couscous to the fiery flavors of penne diablo made with Dungeness crab and andouille sausage. Be sure to order the superb Caesar salad for two (if it's not on the menu, just ask). Instead of a wine list, Morton's has a wine wall for diners to peruse.
