This snug B&B takes its name from the cricket field it overlooks. The original structure was a gamekeeper's cottage that has been handsomely converted. In its own large garden, the family-run house is comfortably furnished and modernized, and completely nonsmoking. Rooms are in both the main house and an equally good pavilion annex. Each unit is decorated and furnished individually and has a small but neatly kept shower-only bathroom.
