As the only structure in the country built just for jazz, this $64-million building, which debuted in 2013, is a must-visit for music fans. The lineup consists mostly of jazz, though everything from gospel brunches to Ethiopian blues bands has been on the bill. Start with dinner and drinks at the full-service café by Charles Phan of Slanted Door fame in the lobby, where there is sometimes live music. The main hall has circular stadium seating so there is no bad seats in the house. Last minute tickets are often available.
