While La Esquina de Buenos Aires has the better and more authentic Argentine ambience and vibe, this place gets my vote as the best Argentine-style steakhouse in the city, if not the country. The cuts of meat are thick, tender and perfectly prepared. You’ll pass the large, open, charcoal grill just inside the front door of this converted former home in an upscale residential neighborhood. Head upstairs for the better seating, and if it’s a nice night try to grab one of the outdoor balcony tables. For dessert, the apple pancake is a well-deserved house specialty, and big enough to be shared.
