Frommer's Review
The name of this property is a bit misleading as a spa and proximity to a golf course do not a resort make. And the Radisson, opened in 2002, is a pretty blatant knockoff of its ritzier next-door neighbor, the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort , down to the Ralph Lauren-does-Texas lobby and the on-site ATM and upscale convenience store. But you're also not paying resort prices, and comparisons aside, this is a very pleasant place to stay. Vacationers and conventioneers alike will enjoy the generous menu of spa treatments and products, as well as guest privileges at two good golf courses. Rooms are attractive in a dark, masculine way. Suites offer jetted tubs and rainforest shower heads, and all accommodations feature cushy "seven-layer beds." It's got plenty of family appeal: Seasonal specials such as the Ultimate SeaWorld Adventure package provide passes, transportation, and complimentary souvenirs for both you and the kids.
