Frommer's Review
Long considered the best parrilla in Bariloche, Alberto seems to have no limits. Some regulars have been coming back for 20 years, and some make the crossing from Chile to have a piece of beef here. The menu is brief, with several cuts of beef, chicken, and sausages; salads; and side dishes such as french fries. The dining area is unpretentious and brightly lit, with wooden tables. A typical bife de chorizo steak is so thick you'll need to split it with your dining partner; if you're alone, they can do a half-order for $8 (£4.40). They don't accept reservations, so there is almost always a long line here, which has the waiters rushing diners through their meals in an effort to keep filling tables. Yes, the meat is good. But for the same price, you can go somewhere less touristy and crowded and actually enjoy your meal at a reasonable pace.
