Frommer's Review
This enchantingly romantic restaurant offers the only fine-dining experience in the Bariloche area. In the luxurious Llao Llao Hotel & Resort, the setting is refined and slightly formal, with fireplace, antiques, white tablecloths, and ultracomfortable chairs with armrests. The restaurant prides itself on using the highest-quality ingredients grown locally -- from wild game for the main courses to the wild berries for dessert. Specialties include grilled venison with blackberry sauce, almond-crusted local trout (from the nearby lake), and a good selection of Argentine steaks. The excellent wine list features many regional wines for under $18 (£9.90). The white-gloved service is superb, and when you finally get the bill, you'll be pleasantly surprised at how affordable it really is for such an exquisite place.
