In a cozy old cottage on the road out of town, this restaurant is friendly and casual, with a varied menu and an excellent wine list. It's particularly nice on a chilly winter evening. For starters, the squash soup is excellent. They serve the grill standards such as tenderloin and steaks, and grilled venison and lamb as well. Nongrilled dishes include goulash with spaetzle. They also stock a wide selection of microbrewed beers.
