Frommer's Review
Catering to stylish young couples, the newest upscale hotel in Bariloche is unique in many ways. The exterior look is ultramodern, and the location, 2.5km (1 1/2 miles) from town amid a large garden, is excellent. The interior design is contemporary and minimalist, with local materials such as wood, stone, and glass enhanced by a revolving display of local art. Rooms are the largest in town, with light hardwood floors, crisp cream walls, plenty of shelving, and small patios. They may remind you of Ikea showrooms. Ample bathrooms have heated floors. All have either a jetted tub or a full hot tub nestled beneath a bay window. They all have advanced technology appliances, from snazzy little stereo systems to flatscreen televisions. Entrance hallways allow rooms to stay clean and dry. The junior suites have the best views.
The rooms are spread among three buildings, each with an outdoor elevator. Plans for a fourth building with a convention center are in the works. The amenities are certainly handy. The restaurant is open all day, and two daily shuttles run into town or up to the ski hill in winter. Downstairs in the main building is a lovely indoor-outdoor pool. There is an activities desk with helpful attendants who will help you plan your adventures.
