The worker-owned Red Vic movie collective originated in the neighboring Victorian building that gave it its name. The theater specializes in independent releases and premieres and contemporary cult hits, and situates its patrons among an array of couches. Prices are $8.50 for adults ($6.50 for matinees) and $5 for seniors and kids 12 and under. Tickets go on sale 20 minutes before each show.
