There are scores of places in San Ignacio serving local cuisine, but this place is a local favorite. Erva is an excellent cook and congenial hostess. In addition to traditional Belizean and Mexican standards, you can get pizza and some seafood dishes here. Still, it's the stew chicken and rice and beans that brings folks in the door, and keeps them (and me) coming back for more. Erva's is located on the ground floor of the Pacz Hotel.
