Frommer's Review
These unique, and seemingly out-of-place, log cabin bungalows are located about a mile from San Ignacio on the road to Benque Viejo and Xunantunich. Each of the cabins is clean and spacious, with two double beds, a plywood table, plastic chairs, and a small black-and-white television. The cabins are separated by neat cement paths through the former cattle land that is planted with a wealth of fruit trees and tropical flowers. A small screened-in dining room, bar, lounge, and gift shop, as well as a midsize kidney-shaped pool are available on-site. The local family who runs these cabins is very friendly; they will help arrange a variety of tours and will usually provide complimentary rides into and from town.
