There are no notable restaurants in San Isidro. The town has its fair share of local joints, but most visitors are content at their hotel restaurant. If you do venture beyond your hotel, your best options are the México Lindo (tel. 2771-8222) and the Pizzería El Tenedor (tel. 2771-0881), both just off the central park. Although the food is mediocre, the second-floor, open-air balcony seating at La Cascada (tel. 2771-6479) offers some excellent opportunities for people-watching, and is a great place to mingle with locals.
