This acclaimed boutique hotel is exquisite. Owners Nathalie and Loic have transformed a former residence into a beautiful amalgam of palms, waterfalls, and flowers. The inn is a completely renovated historic home that combines modern architecture with traditional Mexican touches. All rooms have sliding glass doors that open onto small private terraces or balconies with hammocks and chairs, shaded by bougainvillea and bamboo. Each of the two spa suites has a private terrace with a whirlpool and hammock. Tall California palms surround a small courtyard pool, and the terraces face onto it. Casa Natalia offers its guests privacy, style, and romance. It's in the heart of downtown San José, just off the central plaza, and the restaurant, Mi Cocina, is often visitors' favorite dining experience of an entire trip.
