Frommer's Review
Set within the Wyndham Condado Plaza Hotel, this restaurant presents a stylish blend of Caribbean and Asian cuisine. The setting is an artfully contemporary room -- with bubbling aquariums, maple trim, and comfortable chairs -- which overlooks the lights surrounding the nearby lagoon. Enjoy a drink at the bar outside before heading in to dinner. The menu items were developed by resident chef Phil Bellshaw. You can create your own main course, defining whatever degree of doneness you like, and whatever sauce you like, from mahimahi, salmon, sea scallops, tuna, or sea bass, any of them prepared in up to seven different ways. Sauces include your choice of four: spicy criolla sauce, guava barbecue sauce, mango chutney, and coconut-flavored curry sauce. Other excellent choices on the menu include Caribbean lobster paella and a smoky "cohiba" fish fry. Begin with an original conch and yucca chowder or else a Caesar salad made island-style with manchego cheese, hot chile peppers, and warm yucca croutons.
