Frommer's Review
This family-oriented hotel rises seven stories above a residential neighborhood across the street from Condado Beach. The accommodations are small and not particularly imaginative in their decor. Each room has either one or two queen-size beds, and each has a tub-and-shower bathroom. Some rooms have sofas that convert into beds for children. There's a small swimming pool on the premises. The bars, restaurants, and facilities of the Condado neighborhood are within walking distance. Computers with Internet access are available for guests. It's near the area's best beach right behind the newly renovated La Concha hotel, as well as a newly renovated oceanfront plaza with open-air restaurants and lots of nice spots to hang out on one of the benches. The rules (no bicycles, no ball games, no pets, no fun) will likely freak out your kids if you have them. Don't worry; they should. The beach beside it, however, is wide and partially shaded by a palm grove. The waters are partially protected by a set of breakers. A good spot for families with vendors selling ice cream, cold drinks and snacks is right here on the spot.
