Frommer's Review
Although best known as the island's favorite private campground, Lakedale Resort at Three Lakes also has six very attractive modern cabins, a 10-room lodge that is a luxurious rendition of a classic log mountain lodge, and four canvas-walled tent-like cabins. The cabins are attractively decorated, with large cedar porches that overlook the forest. All have two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a gas fireplace. There's a hot tub in a gazebo, and guests have access to the 82 acres that include trails and several lakes that are good for swimming, canoeing, and trout fishing. Think of this as a summer camp for the entire family. Lots of fun and very woodsy. Lodge guests get a continental breakfast.
In room:(lodge) TV/DVD, fridge, coffeemaker, hair dryer, iron, free local calls, high-speed Internet access. (cabin and house): TV/VCR, kitchen, fridge, coffeemaker, microwave, no phone.

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
