Frommer's Review
The hotel consists of several 16th-century town houses on a couple of streets just above El Jardín and a second grouping bordering Parque Juárez. With picturesque terraces and courtyards bedecked in flowers and plants, some affording charming views and considerable privacy, this place feels like a true getaway from the modern world. The owner, Orient Express, continues doing major remodeling to some of the townhouses in the main part of the hotel. I'm told that these improvements will include climate control. Rooms and suites vary in shape and design; most are very large and have private patios or secluded entrances and working fireplaces. The hotel is 2 blocks southeast of El Jardín. Transportation from either airport is available.
