This hotel is owned by the person who discovered the Tulor ruin site, hence the name. The Tulor is on a quiet street just down from the Hotel Kimal and behind an adobe wall. The circular buildings are made of adobe and thatched roofs. The rooms are unremarkable, with nondescript beige walls, thin carpet, and a tiny table and chair; some seem crammed with too many beds. The hotel is overpriced, and you'd do better at the Kimal. However, the Tulor does have an outdoor swimming pool, and its stand-alone restaurant is very appealing. The owner will gladly share information about the Tulor site and arrange excursions there and to other attractions in the area.
