This chic adobe hotel is owned by two architects, who have bestowed great taste to its interiors, all of which have been remodeled recently. The principal drawback here is the 10-minute dusty walk to the center of town, which is a bother during the day and a pitch-dark ramble at night. The welcoming lobby, lounge, and restaurant are built of stone, adobe walls, cinnamon-colored wood, ironwork, and thatched roofs. The guest rooms are dark, but they have a cooling effect on a hot day. They are also spacious enough to give some breathing room. Perhaps the best rooms are in the separate cabañas, which are a cylindrical two stories with fresh white walls and lots and lots of light.
