The newest addition to lodging options in San Pedro sits just outside of town, on the road to the Pukará de Quitor. Like that of its predecessors, the striking architecture stays true to the style of the zone: river rock patios, adobe walls, peaked straw roofs, and tree trunks left in their spindly, natural state. It is quite an attractive hotel and a lower-cost option than Explora , and it is located on a spacious property with open views. Rooms are simple but for a few tasteful adornments, with soothing dark walls and cutout windows that let in streams of soft light, and rooms all have a small patio. The friendly staff arranges excursions at an additional price. This is a good hotel for a group, as it has a barbecue area near the pool for private parties.
