Much more formal than the nearby Mesquite Tree, The Outside Inn has long been Sierra Vista's top special-occasion restaurant. Housed in a cottagelike building south of town and just north of the turnoff for Ramsey Canyon, The Outside Inn may not be in the most picturesque of surroundings, but the food is definitely among the best you'll find in the area. In the main dining room or out on the patio, you can enjoy such fare as blackened mahimahi or crab-stuffed giant Guaymas shrimp.
