Frommer's Review
This is one of my favorite newer Santa Fe restaurants. Tucked into a little nook along the Santa Fe River, it could easily go unnoticed, but it already has a strong following of locals who enjoy the serene environment and delectable offerings. The food itself is the star here. The atmosphere is like a quaint country hacienda with a touch of elegance created by hardwood floors, a kiva fireplace, cream-colored walls, and fine art. Service is excellent, though cooking times run a little long. The chef employs organic meats and vegetables when possible. At lunch, I've enjoyed the lamb burger on a homemade roll, served with fingerling potatoes. At dinner, the northern halibut with Manila clams is exquisite. For dessert, try the panna cotta or Meyer lemon tart. A carefully chosen beer and wine list compliments the menu. In warmer months, you might want to request a table on the patio where you can sit under a cherry tree. If you want a peaceful and delectable meal out, this is the spot to have it.
