Frommer's Review
This inn, formerly the Spencer House B&B, is near the O'Keeffe Museum, and offers a cozy, homelike feel with a bit of Southwest elegance. New ownership has brought refinement to the small- to medium-size rooms here, each with a different Southwestern theme. The O'Keeffe room has bold primary colors along with O'Keeffe prints on the walls, while the Chimayo room -- my favorite -- is set in a quiet spot in back of the house and has wood floors, a kiva fireplace and warm earth tones. Also in back, an 800-square-foot casita has been split into two separate rooms, each with a full bath and whirlpool tub, one with a full kitchen, fireplace, and private patio. It's a great space but could use an update. All bathrooms are modern and very clean. In summer, a full breakfast -- delights such as a chile relleno casserole or blueberry bread pudding -- is served on the outdoor patio. In winter, guests dine in an atrium. Some rooms have coffeemakers, TVs, and telephones. All have wireless Internet access.
