Frommer's Review
This irresistible boutique hotel is one of my favorites in Santiago, and it is close to absolutely everything. The Orly is housed in a renovated mansion with French-influenced architecture. The lobby has a few cozy nooks with reading lights for relaxing and a small, glass-roofed patio; there's also a bar and a dining area for breakfast. The interiors are a restful white and accented with contemporary art and ambient light. Room sizes vary; doubles come with two twins or a full-size bed and are of average size, while singles are Lilliputian. All junior suites have a sitting area; however, I recommend the king room for its spaciousness. What makes this hotel shine is its combination of everything a traveler looks for: a friendly staff that bends over backward to help, unbeatable location, reasonable price, and an eye-catching decor. For those who need peace and quiet, request a room in the back. Rates shown are low season (June-Sept) and high season (Oct-May).
