Hotel Orly Review

This French-influenced boutique hotel is the city's most charming choice. What makes it shine is its combination of everything a traveler looks for: a friendly staff that bends over backward to help, an unbeatable location, a reasonable price, an eye-catching decor, and local color and charm. The Orly is housed in a renovated mansion that's meticulously maintained and warmly decorated. The lobby has a few cozy nooks with reading lights for relaxing and a small, glass-roofed patio; there's also a bar and a dining area for breakfast. The interiors are a restful white and accented with contemporary art and ambient light. Room sizes vary; doubles come with two twins or a full-size bed and are of average size, while singles are Lilliputian. All junior suites have a sitting area; however, if you are staying for a few nights, the king room is most recommended for its spaciousness. For those who need peace and quiet, request a room in the back as rooms overlooking the street can be noisy. Book well in advance during the peak summer season.

Facilities:
Cafe; bar; room service; laundry service; shower room

About Our System

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.

Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.

The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
