This place serves the best tacos in the city. Choose from a variety of grilled meats. The popular parrillada leonesa grilled combo includes chicken, beef, and pork served on a small brazier on a bed of grilled onions and chile slices, with queso fundido on the side. I prefer the smaller taco plates, each of which comes with enough meat for three tacos. Tortillas are handmade. Salsas are fresh. I suggest taking a cab here. Note: This place specializes in tacos de parrilla (grill). To try another variety of taco -- the tacos de guisos or de cazuela (both casserole tacos) -- consider Tacos del 57 (tel. 442/224-2211), at Calle del 57 #21; it's 1 block west of Ezequiel Montes, right before you get to the first traffic light (there's no sign).
