Planning a TripGetting There -- La Cantábrica (tel. 94-272-08-22) operates four to seven buses a day from Santander but cuts back to four between September and June. Trip time is 45 minutes, and a one-way fare costs 5€. If you're driving, take the N-611 out of Santander to reach the C-6316 cutoff to Santillana.
