This government-rated three-star hotel is a comfortable choice, although not as charming as the Hotel Altamira. Located in an 18th-century building on the main road leading into the village, Los Infantes has kept the old flavor of Santillana: beamed ceilings and lounges furnished with tapestries, antiques, and paintings. The small rooms are cozy and well kept, with wall-to-wall carpeting; two have balconies, and all have private bathrooms, most of them equipped with tub/shower combos.
