This two-star hotel is in an attractive ochre-colored old village house. The smart-rustic restaurant, whose walls are hung with works by contemporary local artists, specializes in traditional Burgundy cuisine (yes, there are snails on the menu) and grills (the steaks are naturally from the Charolais breed). Chef Jean trained under the legendary Roger Verger of the Moulin de Mougins on the Côte d’Azur and passes on his know-how to amateurs via private cooking lessons. For warmer days, there is a terrace that overlooks the pretty rose garden; as do the six rooms, which have all been renovated and decorated in contemporary style. Madame can be a little, how shall we say, “brusque?”
