The Savannah Information Visitor Center, 301 Martin Luther King, Jr., Blvd., Savannah, GA 31401 (tel. 912/944-0455), is open Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm and Saturday and Sunday 9am to 5pm. The staff is friendly and efficient. The center offers an audiovisual presentation ($4 adults, $1 children), organized tours, and self-guided walking, driving, or bike tours with excellent maps, cassette tapes, and brochures.
