Getting AroundThe grid-shaped Historic District is best seen on foot -- the real point of your visit is to take leisurely strolls with frequent stops in the many squares. By Car -- Though you can reach many points of interest outside the Historic District by bus, your own wheels will be much more convenient, and they're absolutely essential for sightseeing outside the city proper.
