This beautifully gardened religious kibbutz has a heated indoor swimming pool, and offers comfortable and simple (and recently renovated) accommodations set in a garden. Buses travel to Lavi direct from Tiberias, and the ride takes only 15 minutes. There is a minimum weekend rate of one full-board plus one half-board night, and holiday prices are considerably higher. Meal facilities are glatt kosher and there is a beautiful kibbutz synagogue with adjacent religious study house/library; plus lectures on kibbutz life for visitors. Because the kibbutz is Sabbath observant, more religious Jewish travelers feel comfortable here.
